Regular Membership – available for administrative law judges employed by SSA in non-managerial positions. For 2026, regular member dues are $30.77 per bi-weekly pay period paid through dues withholding. Regular members may also elect to pay annual dues by check in the amount of $800.02 payable electronically through ACH or Zelle. If you choose this option, the AALJ Treasurer will reach out to arrange for payment.

Associate Membership – available for management administrative law judges (including NHC judges). Dues are $800.02 per year payable electronically through ACH or Zelle. Upon receipt of your completed membership application, the AALJ Treasurer will reach out to you to arrange for payment.

Retired Membership – available to administrative law judges formerly employed by SSA. Dues are $75.00 per year payable electronically through ACH or Zelle. Upon receipt of your completed membership application, the AALJ Treasurer will reach out to you to arrange for payment.
